That single sentence fixes the English-language branch of Nijisanji, the company's flagship VTuber project, a full year later than a shorthand pairing it with Cover Corp's 2020 hololive English launch would suggest.

What the documents show

ANYCOLOR's own talent roster page corroborates the month with more precision: its underlying talent records give an exact debut date of 15 May 2021 for both Elira Pendora and Finana Ryugu, the two earliest-listed NIJISANJI EN members, ahead of every other talent tagged with that affiliation. Between them, the service page's prose and the roster's per-talent dates agree on the month and narrow it to a specific day, without either page claiming a 2020 origin for the English branch. The same roster records show NIJISANJI EN grew through further small cohorts rather than one large debut: Petra Gurin followed in July 2021, Enna Alouette and Millie Parfait in October 2021, and Vox Akuma, Luca Kaneshiro and Shu Yamino in December 2021, each wave dated in the roster's own per-talent records.
