The setup
COVER Corporation runs hololivepro.com, the official site for its hololive production talent brands, and publishes an English-language FAQ so fans can find answers about fan letters, business inquiries and derivative-work questions. As retrieved on 16 September 2026, one FAQ entry states plainly that letters addressed to a talent who has 'graduated or left the company' will not be delivered. There is no separate, standalone page titled a graduation policy on the site; this single FAQ line is the closest thing the company publishes to a general rule about what happens once an activity ends.
What the documents show
The FAQ's own text is narrow: it addresses fan-mail routing, not contracts, intellectual property, or channel handling. A specific case fills in the operational detail the FAQ omits. When COVER announced, on 9 June 2021, that a hololive fourth-generation talent's activity would end with a livestream on 1 July, the company's own announcement stated that fan letters and gifts would still be collected until 14 July, and that channel memberships and members-only content would continue for three months, ending 30 September 2021. Read together, the FAQ and the announcement describe the same underlying process from two angles: the FAQ states the end state, no further mail; the announcement states the transition, a dated wind-down window.
The craft
For a production team, graduation is not a single administrative flag but a sequence of service shutdowns that has to be scheduled against platform mechanics: a livestream date, a mail cutoff, a membership end date tied to a billing cycle. COVER's own timeline shows a company coordinating three separate systems, postal handling, YouTube channel memberships, and the talent's own farewell broadcast, around one announced date rather than ending everything at once.
Keeping the creator in control
This is an editorial reading, not a stated company policy: publishing operational specifics only inside individual case announcements, rather than in a general policy page, means a paying fan or a new creator joining the roster has to search past announcements to learn what to expect. A fixed three-month membership window is a real, checkable commitment once it appears in an announcement, but it is not guaranteed in advance by any general document COVER publishes.
- If an agency does not publish a general policy, has it committed to similar wind-down terms in every past announcement you can find?
- How long do paid perks such as memberships continue after an activity ends, and is that window stated anywhere before it happens?
- Where does correspondence go once a persona's channel stops being staffed, and is there a published cutoff date?
A single FAQ answer and one dated announcement do not add up to a public policy document, but together they show COVER treating a graduation as a scheduled, multi-system shutdown rather than an abrupt stop, which is the useful, checkable fact a fan or a fellow creator can rely on.
